A keen mountain explorer I also paint "en plein air" locally to my home and in the Peak District and Lake District, as well as the Welsh Hills and the Scottish Highlands
A full member of the Northampton Town & County Art Society, I am also a member of the Northampton based Network Arts Group and the Rugby & District Art Society.
I provided the illustrations for a book on Wainwrights 'Pennine Journey' - edited by David Pitt, with maps by Ron Scholes, published by Francis Lincoln June 2010 and I featured in 'Inside out - Cumbria & the North West' - BBC TV. Now available by the same team is a similar volume on the Howgills Fells published by Lincoln Press in 2013.
I am currently working with Ron Scholes on a further Wainwright book publication due 2018
